Curry Powder / Kurra Podi ~ for simple fry dishes



This curry powder add a great flavor to your simply fry dishes. You can make your plain Bhindi/Okra, Alu/Potato, Chamaa/Colocacia, Brinjal/Eggplant, Dondakai/Tindora more tasty and interesting.




Ingredients :

— Urad dal - 1 cup 

— Channa dal - 1 cup 

— Dhaniya seeds - 1/4 cup

— Jeera - 2tsps

— Dry red chillies - 12

— Salt

— Oil - 1 tbsp


Recipe :


1. In a pan, heat oil and add Jeera, Urad dal & Channa dal, one by one.


2. Fry until you get a nice smell. Then add red chillies and fry till you get nice aroma.


3. When this is fried turn off the heat, let this cool. 


4. Blend this into fine powder. 


5. In a separate mixing bowl, add salt and this blended powder. Mix properly.



6. Store in an air tight jar and spice up your veggies.
